Important Notes on Releases:

Go with the latest version of crip, unless you want to make MP3 files in which case go with crip-1.0.

I do not condone making MP3 files anymore. There are better more modern codecs out there and Ogg Vorbis leads the pack. It's also free, developed in the open-source spirit, and capable of constant improvement. It also has a loyal following that is not likely to disappear for a very long time.
