Spiff's Christmas with the Hammonds

When we left you, Spiff was jamming up a storm with my father, Rob Hammond.
But the fun didn't stop there!! Read on as Spiff's adventures in Urbana, Illinois, continue!



The next day, my dad takes us to work with him!
Spiff has never heard of a chimney sweep before.
He tries to ride along on my dad's top hat...

My dad is confused...


But Spiff says he wants to try this,
So my dad sends him off with the brushes...

I don't think I've ever seen Spiff this excited before!


Then he gets on the roof and this really strange look comes across his face.
It's almost an eerie look with hints of power...

... and freedom.....

By now, Spiff feels like he's on top of the world.
With his confidence soaring and spirits high, he demands women.
Trying to sneak in parts of my itinerary, as well, I tell him that there are women where I used to work.
Spiff exuberantly goes along...

...although, I guess I did fail to mention that my old job was a High School percussion teacher...

...and the girls were young high schoolers...



Forced to make it up to him, I bring him to a bar.
There, my of-age friends buy him drinks.

Thank goodness he's easing up a bit...

And all is good...


Then Spiff mentions something about a slight pain in his abdomen...


Oh no! What's wrong with Spiff!?
